school-bus2Hampton Roads – A mother of a middle school student was convicted of disorderly conduct this week after mooning her son’s bus driver and the roughly 45 students riding the bus.

Lisa Marie Grant, 34, of Suffolk was sentenced to six months in jail with all but one month suspended and fined $250 for the misdemeanor, according to court records.

Also on Tuesday, a General District Court judge found Grant not guilty of an indecent exposure charge.

The conflict started when the John Yeates Middle School bus driver sent Grant’s son home with a conduct notice, a warning given before a discipline referral is written, Bethanne Bradshaw, a division spokeswoman, wrote in an email.

Grant’s attorney, Steven Oser, said the mother wanted to talk to the driver about the notice, so she walked to the bus stop that November day with her son and a 4-year-old.

You got to question the mom’s motive here. Not sure why she did this being that school bus drivers hate their lives more than any working person out there. You are constantly monitored on your driving, you are ushering anywhere between 1-60 school children to and from school, overprotective parents, you get screen check to make sure you’re not a perv (rightfully so), and you have to deal with rush hour.

No wonder the mom got caught, it sends a message to the other parents on the bus “Don’t F*ck with me cause I can easily turn the tables”.

Getting back to the mom—WHY ARE YOU MOONING A BUS FULL OF SCHOOL KIDS?  Moms are supposed to be the level headed comforting forces in the family. Dad is supposed to do these things.
