Johs Hamilton Signed BallThe Post Game – Josh Hamilton may be struggling at the plate, but he is undeniably still winning in the field.

The Los Angeles Angels outfielder, who has a reputation for interacting with fans, recently provided one woman with a gift she’ll never forget.

During a game between the Angels and the Oakland A’s, Hamilton signed a ball for a fan in the stands. But he didn’t stop with his autograph. He added a religious message as well as a wonderful compliment: “Your hair is awesome.”

Sorry if the title was a bit misleading but I had to grab your attention somehow. No this isn’t about narcissistic Alex Rodriguez trying to pick up chicks from the dugout as his team is losing in the playoffs. This is about Angels’ outfielder who did something extra than just put his signature on a ball for a fan. The Angels were playing the Athletics this week and it was memorable for some more than others.

Josh Hamilton wrote on the ball “We come to Christ as we are & He is responsible for cleaning us up! We trust! He cleans!” on another side he wrote “ Jesus loves you! Love him!” Signed named with #32 with the Bible verse: 1 Peter 2:20-25. On the other side he wrote the message “Your hair is awesome!”

The Bible verse 1 Peter 2:20-25:

(20) For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. (21) For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. (22) He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. (23) When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. (24) He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (25) For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Regardless if Hamilton is hitting or not after signing this contract he made an Oakland Athletics’ fan’s year with this gesture. Good to see a once drug abusing villain send a positive message to the youth of the nation.
