Osama-bin-laden-dead-1May 2, 2011, Osama Bin Laden was shot and killed inside a private residential compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, by members of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (Navy SEALs) and Central Intelligence Agency  (CIA) operatives in a covert operation ordered by United States President Barack Obama.

Americans received word of his death around 11:30PM May 1st with major news sources reporting it as early as 9:00PM that night. It was without a doubt a great day in American history and one of the greatest days of my life. Pure joy descended on the whole nation as thousands of people went out on a brisk Sunday night to celebrate. After his death it led to such an organic and pure sense of patriotism and pride. Words really can’t describe how joyful I and those around the USA really were.

Zero Dark Thirty portrayed the mission pretty well, although I am skeptical that we will ever find out what exactly happen. I don’t want to know if it means keeping the best and brightest minds in our special forces and intelligence agencies safe. There have been “exclusive” interviews, documentaries, articles, and reports detailing what really happened on that night. I’ll let you in on a real secret:  The media is just trying to capitalize on a hot story…they can have a headline mentioning the raid but have it be about inmates playing with Barbies and you’d still read it.

At the end of the day, the night of May 1st and the day of May 2nd should be looked like Christmas Eve and Christmas to all the patriots out there. No one really celebrates Christmas Eve during the day…same with this.

As always, B-MinusBlogs would like to say thank you and God Bless to all those protecting our freedoms and liberties. We should not have to be victims of an attack to bring our country together.
