Daily Camera – Mother Nature continues to wreak havoc on the Rockies homestand as Monday’s game was postponed.
It will be made up as part of a split doubleheader today with the first game at 1:10 p.m., followed by the regularly scheduled game at 6:40 p.m.
This is the 16th Rockies’ game postponed by snow and five have involved the Braves, all in April.
Holy moly, the Rockies have another double-header because of a snow storm again today. Can’t blame this on anyone but mother nature. The Rockies have played 20 years worth of baseball in April in Colorado and haven’t had this bad of luck ever. I have to tip my hat to everyone in the organization that helped get the field ready for play. The owner down to the part-time worker were all out in force trying to get the field baseball ready.
If this is happening in July, I’d be worried…April can go either way, it’s such a indecisive month and definitely a chick month. Some years it’s 70’s and sunny all month long or sometimes it’s 40’s, dreary and annoying. It can never be consistent year over year…just like girls and what they wear.
