Blackout - Season Pilot

It’s been a long 4 months since NBC’s new smash hit Revolution has been on TV and tonight there is a brand new episode and I am fucking HYPED. This show is amazing, and ever since Lost left us I haven’t been able to find a suitable replacement in my heart. Lost was like the greatest girlfriend in the world ever who dies saving children from a school fire. Even her leaving makes you love her even more…that was Lost for me. The series finale was stupendous and heartbreaking, but made me realize how much I loved the show.

In a nutshell, for some reason one night all the electricity in the world goes out. Even the physics of how batteries and solar panels don’t work. Fast forward 15 years and you start the series and you see how this world would be without any form of electricity seems like a cool idea, then you watch some episodes in and you find out why. Revolution is built like Lost. Main tragedy occurs in the pilot, then every episode after that is a character based episode with flashbacks. Literally every episode has a twist ending to keep you on the edge of your seat every week.

I’m not saying it’s as good as Lost, because no show will ever be. Not Breaking Bad, not Sons of Anarchy, not Walking Dead…nothing. But Revolution has potential.

Fuck the haters! Revolution is one of the best shows on TV.
