Jerry Buss

Yesterday, Jerry Buss, owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, passed away at the age of 80. It was a big loss for the NBA and the entire world of sports.

Buss was essentially the George Steinbrenner of the NBA. He didn’t come into money but with hard work, he took his education and a $1,000 investment and propelled that into purchasing the Lakers and The Forum (along with many other purchases).

Under his ownership, Buss sparked one of the best rivalries in sports in the Celtics Lakers and during his time as owner, saw the Lakers bring 10 championships to Los Angeles. Not only did Buss play a role in putting rings on the fingers of the Lakers, but bring a charm to L.A. Laker games became a spot for celebrities and a worldwide brand.

Truly one of the best owners in all of sports. Dr. Buss you are my guy and you will be missed. Rest easy.

  1. Hey There. I found your blog using msn. This is an extremely well written article.
I’ll be sure to bookmark it and come back to read more of your
useful info. Thanks for the post. I will definitely return.

best way is to use theft monitoring services. For example, changes in the gastrointestinal or cardiovascular system can turn deadly.
Character Signatures – Obtaining the signatures of all your favorite Disney Characters has never been so easy.

  3. Have you ever thought about including a little bit
more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is
valuable and everything. However think about if you added some great pictures or videos to give your posts
more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with
pics and video clips, this blog could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche.
    Fantastic blog!
