Harbaugh Super Bowl Handshake

CBS Baltimore – Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh admitted on CBS’ “The Late Show With David Letterman” Thursday that he hasn’t spoken to his brother, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh, since the Super Bowl.

“We have not had a conversation since,” the Super Bowl winning coach told Letterman. “We will, soon.”

John Harbaugh explained to Letterman that there is no animosity between the two and he believes he will be able to see and talk to his brother within the next couple of weeks.

“We have meetings coming up, we have a combine in two weeks,” he said.
Harbaugh added that there’s no consoling your brother after you beat him in the Super Bowl.

“There’s no consolation,” Harbaugh said. “There’s no way that you console your brother.”

Typical Harbaugh move. I’m not even blaming John on this one. This is all on Jim. He’s easily the nut job of the two. All I can picture is Jim in a dark room, sucking his thumb, and rewatching the no call all day long. Basically what I’m picturing is Jim dressed like Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation. In the attic in women’s clothing watching film.

I get that losing in the Super Bowl has to be one of the toughest things a man can go through. Let alone losing to your brother. As the younger brother, Jim has probably been losing to John his entire life and this was the icing on the cake. Thought he was going to have his Little Giants moment against his big brother and came up short.

Hey guys, maybe you should hash this one out and move on? C’mon now, Jack wouldn’t want to see you two like this. Next thing you know he’ll be putting the two of you in timeout.

Sidenote – Could I have squeezed in any more movie references?
