CBS St. Louis – A 93-year-old Kansas City man has been charged with killing his 95-year-old wife in what investigators are calling a homicide and attempted suicide.

The Jackson County prosecutor filed the second-degree murder charge Wednesday against Harry Irwin, who remained hospitalized with self-inflicted stab wounds in his chest.

According to The Kansas City Star, court records state that Harry Irwin – who was married for 70 years to Grace Irwin – told a shift nurse at the hospital that he killed his wife because “she was arguing and screaming at him all night and he couldn’t take it anymore.”

Holy mackerel, you’ve been married for 70 years and you kill your wife. I don’t believe it at all, I mean does a 93 year old really have the strength to kill someone? Not only that but I didn’t know younger men could get older women back in the day. Were the 70+ years nowhere near as bad as this incident that made you kill your wife?

I get that “you’ve had enough” but there are a few issues with killing your wife: 1. It’s inhumane 2. It’s against the law. 3. It’s not the best play.

This guy is a fucking pyscho. Seriously, if you think about it gramps, you’re shit out of luck. Your kids/friends/neighbors will hate you, you can’t get it up anymore, and you have old saggy balls that no woman in her right mind would want to be with. Should have just taken your hearing aid out and fell asleep, that’s the secret to marriage life after 75 years of age according to my grandpa.
