CBS Sports – Sunday will be the last day of the Jets‘ 2012 season. It also will likely be the last day that Mike Tannenbaum will be the team’s general manager.
As first reported on Sunday, according to a league source, Tannenbaum will be relieved of his duties as team owner Woody Johnson searches for a replacement.
One potential scenario is that Tannenbaum will be reassigned to another role within the organization.
Mike Tannenbaum is getting the boot come Monday. Thank the Fucking LORD. I have hated him ever since he started dropping NYJ greats for past their prime superstars like Favre, Plax, LT, or how he just let Brad Smith, TJ Richardson, Jerricho Cotchery, Thomas Jones and Shaun Ellis go…And NOT to even me mention this Sanchez-Tebow QB circus. Or how about Braylon Edwards calling you an idiot, then you go the next week and sign him? Woof……
Why am I still a Jet fan? Why God? Why do you forsaken me?!
I know each of them had various reasons but football is one of the only sports where chemistry means EVERYTHING. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you’re not clicking on all cylinders, you will fail.
Now bring in a GM with some football knowledge and not some ass-clown who wants to put fans in the stands and cover his own ass in the PSL fiasco.
