Marine Christmas

Christmas is a time for family and friends to gather in celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ. Over the course of a few decades it has taken a more secular meaning in our country but one constant is still  their: love of family and friends.

When you sit down for that Christmas dinner, you are partainge in something hundred of thousand men and women cannot do.

Although the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are no longer a focus of discussion there are still soldiers protecting our nation there, as well  as countless other places. Their deployment keeps them away from their families during this time of celebration.

We are reaching out to our readers to see which charities or organizations are out there that help military families specifically during the Christmas season. We would like to write an article on how to help. No way is too small.  We are not only looking for monetary donations but also ways to volunteer or help.

Please leave suggestions in the comment section or email us.

God Bless you and God Bless our Troops past, present, and future.
