Broncos (9-7) (9-7)

Well all know one of the biggest stories this offseason: the Broncos signing Peyton Manning.  Denver finished up at 8-8 last season and can only improve on that in 2012-2013.  I have them finishing on top at 9-7 but this team and division have many uncertainties.  Will Peyton be the Peyton of old?  Do the defense continue to improve?  If the team plays together top to bottom, Denver takes the division.

Peyton will be solid.  He will need help on defense though.

Chargers (8-8) (10-6)

The Chargers picked up a ton of guys this offseason.  Antonio Gates is healthy again, and a great quarterback with Phillip Rivers will bring this offense to life.  In a league where the tight end has seen its rebirth, these two will be a great pair.  Add Ryan Matthews to the mix and the Chargers will be fighting for the division title.

Watch for River to nail it this season.

Chiefs (8-8) (7-9)

Add the Chiefs to the list of teams trying to solve their quarterback woes.  Matt Cassel is not the quarterback that came in for Tom Brady in Foxborough.  The Chiefs have a very strong and deep roster – which makes the Kansas City a serious, and surprising contender in the fight to the top of the AFC West.

They wanna win?  Put Brady Quinn in!  Watch Brady spin!  Ahhh dreams of BQ being a NFL QB fill my mind.

Raiders (6-10) (6-10)

Darren McFadden is a great back when healthy.  The defense is also a strong asset for Oakland.  However, Carson Palmer can stay healthy like a European in the mid 1300’s.  Healthy or not, Palmer has some serious issues.  The Raiders need a quarterback who won’t be throwing multiple interceptions a game.  The Raiders will be the tommy boy of the division.

Raiders are only worth watching cause the overalls enthusiastic fans who thinks Halloween is every Sunday from September-January.
